Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI) is an independent, full-service family-owned materials test lab founded in 1984. LTI provides NADCAP- and A2LA-accredited fatigue crack growth and fracture toughness testing, as well as high-cycle and low-cycle fatigue testing, metallography, chemistry, and other destructive and non-destructive testing services.

For many years, LTI and Fracture Technology Associates (FTA) collaborated on significant projects in fatigue crack growth for customers in the aerospace, defense and other industries. This close relationship, shared core values and related capabilities led Keith Donald to choose LTI to continue the legacy of FTA for automated fracture mechanics test systems and pioneering research in the field. On June 27, 2017, Laboratory Testing Inc. acquired FTA.

The LTI Fatigue & Fracture Laboratory exclusively uses FTA systems for all of its fatigue crack growth and fracture toughness test frames. Like FTA, LTI now offers these systems to other test labs and organizations that are interested in performing fatigue and fracture testing with the highest accuracy.

LTI is committed to supporting FTA customers in the future. Under the FTA brand, LTI offers all of the software, hardware and training required for organizations to perform their own fracture mechanics tests completely in-house. LTI plans to invest in ongoing software development and to increase features and functions which will improve the productivity of software users.
