The FTA variable-amplitude software add-on option provides additional functionality to the standard FCGR package by enabling the use of user-generated wave-forms in which the load-ratio can be changed on a cycle-by-cycle basis. The software supports a wide variety of spectrum files, including spectra characterized by load peaks and valleys (end-point files), repetitive load peaks and valley test sequences (block files), and fully customized waveform shapes. The software allows for a constant loading rate within upper and lower frequency limits and provides automatic command correction based on endpoint errors. A validation log can also be stored for cataloging all endpoint errors for the entire spectrum, to ensure test accuracy.
